The Kansas Democratic Party is always looking for energetic students to participate in our internship program. The following intern positions are available for Fall '07 and Spring '08.

Technology Intern:
The Kansas Democratic Party is seeking motivated Technology Interns to assist the Technology Director on various IT, database and online communications projects. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, and dedicated to electing Democratic candidates in Kansas. Experience with drupal web sites, online social networking services (facebook, myspace, etc.), and data collection are all pluses. Internships are available Fall '07 and Spring ‘08 positions.

Communications Intern:
The Kansas Democratic Party is seeking motivated Communications Interns to assist the Communications Director on various writing, promotional and organizational projects. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, and dedicated to electing Democratic candidates in Kansas. Please attach a writing sample with the application. Internships are available for Fall '07 and Spring ‘08 positions.

Voter Outreach Internship:
The Kansas Democratic Party is seeking intelligent, outgoing individuals to assist with our voter outreach efforts. Voter Outreach Interns will work with State Party staff in several capacities, including:

• Assisting in direct voter contact (door-to-door, phone, email, and mail)
• Working with Finance Team to grow fundraising ability
• Help with planning events
• Ensuring that voter data is up to date
• Working with various caucuses and constituencies of the Democratic Party
